Homemade Tandoori Chicken | तंदूरी चिकन रेसिपी | Tanduri chiken recipe



Mixture prep 10 minutes
Ready in 15-20 minutes
Serves 5-6 people

*All ingredients used are organic & local.*

Ingredients:

  1. 1-2 cups of thinly sliced chicken breast
  2. 2 tbsp of Ginger Garlic (pounded)
  3. 2 tbsp Yogurt/Dahi
  4. 2 tbsp Tandoori Masala
  5. Salt (as per taste)

Marination:
  1. In a large bowl, take chicken
  2. Add Ginger Garlic (pounded)
  3. Add Yogurt/Dahi
  4. Add Tandoori Masala
  5. Add salt
  6. Mix everything thoroughly
  7. Marinate at least for 30mins-120 mins

Final Prep/Frying:
  1. Add  Ghee to a heated pan and now add all the chicken bites.
  2. Turn them on each side after 5-10 mins (don't’ overcook or burn)
  3. Once ready server on a nice clean plate with some carrot & cucumber and mini sliced bread

Tips:
  • Serve with some homemade chutney or Schezwan sauce.

  • marination and let it sit minimum for 5-10 minutes before frying, it still tastes delicious.

Quick health gyaan:
  1. Frying in Ghee reduces the glycemic index of chicken.
  2. Eat in small quantity and eat it along with mini bread or mini rotis. Remember, this is an appetizer not a meal so don’t pounce on this.
  3. Eating fried food is ok but restrict this to 2 times in a month and not for every day.
